Episode 33 - The Missoula Mauler & The Tri-State Crematory Scandal
In this episode, Erika covers Wayne Nance better known as “The Missoula Mauler". Wayne had been committing murders between 1974-1986, but at the time there was never enough evidence to convict him. Until one fateful day when he tried to murder a couple, who fought back with all that they had, and Wayne was the one who ended up dead. It was not until his death that investigators learned that there were similarities between his last attempted murder and the unsolved murders. They were able to find enough physical evidence to connect him to the murders. Is it possible that there are other unknown victims of Wayne Nance?

Then Amber covers the Tri-State Crematory Scandal. Between 1996 and 2002 hundreds of bodies were brought to the Tri-State Crematory for services. But unbeknownst to the loved ones, the ashes that they were provided were that of wood and debris. The incinerator was in working order, so why did the owner, Ray Brent Marsh, scatter bodies around the 16 acre property rather than properly cremate them?
