In this week’s episode, Amber covers the murder of Skylar Neese. Skylar was a 16-year old girl who disappeared from her home in Star City, West Virginia on July 6, 2012. The entire community helped in the search for Skylar, including her 2 best friends, Sheila Eddy and Rachel Shoaf. It was until Rachel made a grizzly confession that the case went from a missing persons case to a murder investigation.

Then Erika covers the Babbs Switch Schoolhouse Fire. On a chilly, Christmas Eve in 1924 the Babbs Switch Schoolhouse near the town of Hobart, Oklahoma was the scene of a deadly fire. Around 200 people including students, families and staff arrived for a Christmas celebration, that would end in disaster. Just as Santa reached for the last few presents one of the candle decorations was knocked over, causing the tinsel to go up in flames. This tragic fire took 36 lives of all ages and injured 37. It even led to the mysterious disappearance of a 3 year old little girl, who would years later reappear but the truth would not come out for many more years after that.
