In this episode, Amber covers the Groene Family Murders. On May 16, 2005, authorities discovered the bodies of Brenda Groene,40, her boyfriend Mark McKenzie, 37, and her son Slade Groene, 13, in their home in Cour d'Alene. Two of Brenda's children, Dylan Groene,9, and Shasta Groene, 8, were missing. An AMBER Alert was issued for the missing children as the homicide investigation began.

Then, Erika covers the Altamont Speedway free concert. The Altamont Speedway Festival was held on December 6, 1969 in Northern California. The concert featured: Santana, Jefferson Airplane, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and the Rolling Stones. What was to be an evening of fun resulted in 4 deaths and was riddled with violence.
