In the summer of 1974, 11 year old John Wilson was at the local pool with his sister, 13 year old Lizabeth Wilson in Prairie Village, Kansas. John races to beat his sister home, but she never arrives. By 10 pm their parents call 9-1-1 to report Lizabeth missing. Police are suspicious of the evening janitor, John Henry Horton, who was working at the High School next to the pool at the time of Lizabeth's disappearance

Then, Amber covers the Hyatt Regency Walkway Collapse. On July 17, 1981, two walkways collapsed at the Hyatt Regency Kansas City hotel in Kansas City, Missouri. One directly above the other. They crashed onto a tea dance being held in the hotel's lobby, killing 114 and injuring 216.
