Episode 41 - Edmund Creffield and the Holy Rollers & The Disappearance of Amy Lynn Bradley

In this episode, Erika covers Edmund Creffield and the Holly Rollers. Edmund Creffield started the Brides of Christ church in the early 1990's. Creffield's congregation was largely women as over time he convinced his female followers to leave their husbands and devote themselves completely to him. The followers would ask God for forgiveness while they rolled around on the floor, which is how they got the name "Holly Rollers". Creffield went on to marry one of his young followers and selected another young follower to bear his child. This treatment of young women angered male family members which resulted in violence.

Then Amber covers the disappearance of Amy Lynn Bradley. Amy was a beautiful, intelligent young woman with a bright future ahead of her. At the age of 23, she was living in her own apartment and had plans to return to school to obtain her Masters degree in sports psychology. In March of 1998 Amy joined her family: dad-Ron, mom-Iva, and brother-Brad, on what was to be a 7-day Caribbean cruise. When the cruise pulled into port to the island of Curacao, Amy was nowhere to be found. The family searched the ship and the island and could not find her.  Over the years there have been multiple sightings of Amy, but the family has still not been able to bring her home.

Amy is 5 foot 6 inches tall with brown hair and green eyes. She has 4 tattoos: a Tasmanian devil on her shoulder blade, a sun on her lower back, a Chinese symbol on her right ankle and a gecko around her belly button. Today, Amy would be 37 years old.
