Episode 46 - The Horrific Crimes of Cedric Ricks & The Sultana Steamboat Disaster
In this episode, Amber talks about the crimes of Cedric Ricks. Teshana Singleton was only 15 years old when she met Cedric Ricks and fell in love. He was her first love, but her parents didn't approve of the relationship. When Teshana was old enough to decide for herself, her and Cedric reconnected; but she started to see signs that her first love had a dark side. After several years of abuse, Teshana finally ended the relationship. A decision that likely saved her life.

Then Erika covers the Sultana steamboat disaster inn April of 1865 on the Mississippi river. The boat was overloaded with prisoners of war, crew members, paying passengers and livestock. The prisoners were only on board because of a bribe made by two Captains and it would unfortunately add to the chaos and the demise of the Sultana Steamboat disaster.
