Episode 74 - The Murder of Judith Barsi & “The Happy Face Killer”
In this episode, Amber covers the devastating murder of child star, Judith Barsi. Judith, or Judy as she was known, was born June 6, 1978. She began her career in television, making appearances in commercials and television series as well as in the film Jaws: The Revenge, she provided voices for animated characters in “All Dogs Go To Heaven” and “The Land Before Time” as Ducky, where she was known for her famous line of "Yep, yep yep". She and her mother, Maria, were killed in July 1988 in a double murder-suicide committed in their home by her father, József Barsi.
Amber was drinking Browne Family Rose Grenache, and she really enjoyed it.

Then Erika covers the chaotic killings of Keith Hunter Jesperson a.k.a. “The Happy Face Killer”. In January of 1990, he would murder his first victim Taunja Bennett in Portland, Oregon. Her body would be discovered and then all of a sudden, with an anonymous tip to police by Laverne Pavlinac, things started to seem like they were coming together for the investigation. Laverne started with blaming her way younger boyfriend John Sosnovske and then after changing her story a few too many times, she ends up implicating herself. So…while Pavlinac and Sosnovske are dragging the investigation through the ringer for something they didn’t even do, Keith is out wreaking havoc and would end up murdering even more women.
Erika was back to drinking her Yellow Tail Chardonnay, so we know how that was. LOL
