Episode 59 - The Wineville Chicken Coop Murders & The Worst Date Ever
This week Erika covers the story of the Wineville Chicken Coop Murders. In 1926, Gordon Stewart Northcott, murdered 4 young boys with some help from his mother Sarah, and his young nephew Sanford. Sanford the nephew was forced to partake of the disposing of the victims. 3 of the young boys were buried in a chicken coop, on their chicken ranch in Wineville, CA, while the 4th victim was killed and disposed of elsewhere. The victims were Walter Collins, Lewis and Nelson Winslow and Alvin Gothea. There is even a side story regarding Walter Collins, where a runaway tried to claim to be the missing boy, but was found to be a fraud. Then Amber tells the story of the worst date ever. Gina Allen and Brandon Day met on MySpace in 2006. After only 2 weeks of dating, Brandon invited Gina to join him on a business trip to a resort in Palm Springs. On one of the last days of this trip, they decided to take a day trip to Mt. San Jacinto. The couple decided to wander away from the tour group and explore the mountain. Brandon and Gina find themselves lost in the wilderness and having to band together as a team even though they are practically strangers.
