In this weeks episode, Amber covers the murder of Carly Scott. Carly, who went by Charli, was a beautiful and vibrant young woman. At 22-years old, she was living on the island of Maui and that is where she met and fell in love with 19-year old Steven Capobianco. Charli was captivated by Steven and even though Steven was more than happy to use Charli for sex and attention, he didn't return the feelings of love and admiration. So in 2014, when Steven found out that Charli was pregnant he became enraged.

Erika covers the story of the Covina Christmas Massacre. On December 24, 2008 the day of celebration started like any other for the Ortega Family Christmas party. Joseph and Alicia Ortega invited about 25 people including there children James, Charles, Leticia, Alicia and Sylvia and their families over to their house for an evening of Christmas fun, even a late night game of Texas Hold 'Em. Around 11:30pm the party would turn into a horrific scene after their was a knock at the front door. The first person to the door was 8 year old Katrina Yuzefpolsky, the daughter of Leticia. She screamed with excitement when she saw Santa Claus at the front door, carrying a big present. Sadly, Santa Claus was not their to bring Joy and Christmas Cheer. The man in the Santa suit was Sylvia's ex-husband Bruce Pardo and he was there to wreak havoc and pain upon the Ortega family, and that's exactly what he did.
