Then Amber covers the tragic I-75 car crash. During the morning commute on December 11, 1990 a dense fog, later attributed to the Hiawassee River and a nearby paper mill, covered roughly a 10 mile stretch of I-75 in Tennessee. The fog was so dense, that victims and witnesses said that it was as if a blanket had been thrown over their windshield. The crash involved a total of 99 vehicles and took several minutes before it came to a stop.
